“Neighbor choice is important to offer because it goes beyond the physical benefit of them receiving food. By providing choices, we encourage the neighbor to choose foods that they are comfortable preparing, avoiding allergies, helping with dietary restrictions, or maybe even an opportunity to try new nutritional foods. Choice is an easy way to use the same allotment of foods to maximize health benefits and add another level of provision to the overall health of our neighbors’ well-being.”
